Sowing and care
Every product page has sowing instructions for that variety.
For most flower and vegetable seeds the best time is late April to May, after the last frost. Some, such as basil and tomatillo, can be started indoors in February–March.
Soaking hard-coated seeds such as morning glory, cypress vine, squash and melon in lukewarm water for 12–24 hours speeds up germination. Marigold and basil can be sown without soaking.
Open the parcel right away, let the seedling rest in a cool, shady place for a few hours and water it lightly. After a day or two, plant it in sunny, well-drained soil.
Keep them in their closed pack in a dry, cool and dark place. Moisture reduces viability; the vegetable drawer of the fridge is good for long-term storage.
Returns and exchanges
Details are on the Returns and exchanges page.
Ask the courier to write a damage report and send us photos within 24 hours of delivery. After review we will replace the item or refund you.
You can cancel by writing to us before your order is packed. Live plants cannot be cancelled once they are in special packing.
